I have got a 5mbps internet connection but the download speed never reaches 4mbps on Edge or on IE (the only browsers that work on my Win10). On my Win7 notebook, however, the speed goes up to 7mbps using Spark Browser. It's not a server issue for the same download finishes twice as fast using Spark.
There are certain files that just won't even start downloading. It will say "initializing" and then just do that for a while, until it turns into "Temporary error, retrying" BUT IT DOESN'T RETRY. It just sits there and I have to cancel the download in order for it to return to my queue. Be aware MEGA have variable (dynamic) transfer limits on how much data you can download/upload each day so, for large transfers, you'll likely see MEGAsync pause the download and then resume at a later time. Whenever I download from Mega, I lose a TON of space on my Chromebook's SSD, even though I save the file to a 32 GB flash drive.
